📝 高分范文(约 200-250 词,1-2 分钟)
The most memorable event of my life so far was the day my son was born, about five years ago. It was a Tuesday morning in July, and I remember every single detail like it was yesterday.
My wife went into labour early that morning. We headed to the hospital, and after what felt like forever — about fourteen hours, to be precise — he finally arrived at 8:42 pm. I was right there in the delivery room, holding my wife's hand. When the doctor put this tiny, wriggling little boy on her chest, I just completely broke down. I don't think I'd ever cried like that before.
What struck me most was how surreal it felt. One minute, it was just the two of us; the next, we were suddenly parents, responsible for this completely dependent little human. There was this rush of emotions — joy, fear, disbelief, love all mixed together.
We named him after my grandfather. Now, five years on, watching him grow from a newborn into this loud, curious, funny little boy is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. That night in the hospital room is still my favourite memory, no question.

💬 Part 3 延伸讨论
Q1: What events do people usually remember most?
I think the really emotional ones, good or bad. Graduation, weddings, the death of a loved one, the birth of a child. Ordinary days just blur together. Human memory seems built to hang onto moments of big transition, not routine.
Q2: Do people remember more from their youth than from recent years?
Yes, it's a well-known effect. Young adulthood is when you form your identity, travel, start your career, meet your partner — so those memories are vivid. Recent years, by contrast, feel like they fly by because there's less novelty. That's why making new experiences matters.
