Q1: What's your favourite food?
I'm a huge fan of noodles — any kind, really, but especially hand-pulled beef noodles from my hometown. There's something incredibly comforting about a warm bowl of noodles on a cold day. I also love spicy food, so hot pot is right up my alley too.
Q2: Do you like cooking?
Yeah, I enjoy it quite a bit, especially on weekends. I usually keep it simple during the week — maybe stir-fry something quick — but on Saturdays I like to spend more time in the kitchen and try out new recipes. My wife is actually a much better cook than I am, though, so I'm mostly the assistant.
Q3: Do you prefer eating at home or eating out?
It really depends on the situation. During the week, I'd much rather eat at home — home-cooked food is healthier and cheaper, and I can control the ingredients. But on weekends, going out to try new restaurants is one of my favourite things to do with friends.
Q4: Is there any food you dislike?
Hmm, I'm not really a fan of sweet desserts. I know some people have a massive sweet tooth, but I'd always go for a savoury snack over cake or ice cream. I also can't stand bitter melon — the taste is just too strong for me.
Q5: Have your eating habits changed since you were a child?
Oh, definitely. Growing up, I ate whatever my parents put in front of me, and I was pretty picky about vegetables. These days, I'm much more health-conscious — I try to eat more greens and cut down on greasy food. I guess as you get older, you start caring more about what you put into your body.
