Q1: Do you like reading?

Yes, definitely — reading is probably my favourite way to relax. I try to read for at least half an hour every night before going to sleep. It helps me wind down and forget about work for a while. I usually have a book on my bedside table that I'm in the middle of.

Q2: What kind of books do you usually read?

I'm mostly into non-fiction these days, especially history and biographies. I find it fascinating to learn about real people and historical events. I also enjoy the occasional science fiction novel, just for pure escapism. I used to read a lot of thrillers, but I've kind of moved on from those.

Q3: Do you prefer physical books or e-books?

That's actually a tough one. I love the feel of a physical book — turning the pages, the smell of paper — but practically speaking, e-books are so much more convenient, especially when I'm travelling. I usually read physical books at home, but I take my e-reader with me when I go away.

Q4: Did you read much when you were a child?

Oh, I was a proper bookworm as a kid. I remember reading all sorts of novels, from adventure stories to science fiction. My parents used to take me to the library every weekend, and I'd come home with a stack of books. Reading was basically my whole childhood hobby.

Q5: Has your taste in books changed over the years?

Yeah, a lot actually. When I was younger, I'd read anything that had a good story — I didn't really care about the quality. These days, I'm much more selective. I tend to go for books that teach me something or challenge my thinking, rather than just pure entertainment. I guess as you get older, you start valuing substance over plot.
