📝 高分范文(约 230 词)

The leader I admire is a former manager of mine, Diana, who ran the product team I worked on at a previous company. She's the kind of leader who leads by example rather than by authority.

What made Diana stand out was her ability to listen. In meetings, she'd rarely speak first — she'd ask quieter team members what they thought, and she genuinely incorporated their input. I've worked with managers who pretend to listen, but Diana actually changed her mind in meetings when someone made a better case. That earned her enormous respect.

She was also incredibly clear about expectations. She never micromanaged, but she made sure everyone understood the goal and why it mattered. When we faced setbacks, she didn't panic or blame — she'd say, "Okay, what did we learn, and what do we do next?" That psychological safety meant the team took smart risks rather than playing it safe.

I think a great leader isn't the person with all the answers. It's the person who creates an environment where other people can find the answers themselves. Diana did that, and her team consistently outperformed others in the company.

💬 Part 3 延伸

Q: What qualities make a bad leader? Micro-management is a big one — it signals distrust. So does taking credit for the team's work while shifting blame when things go wrong. The worst leaders create an environment where people are afraid to speak up.
