📝 高分范文(约 220 词)

The city I'd like to talk about is Kyoto, which I visited last autumn. I'd wanted to go for years, and it didn't disappoint — if anything, it exceeded expectations.

I spent about five days there. I stayed in a small guesthouse near Gion, which meant I could step out early in the morning before the tourist crowds arrived. What struck me most was the contrast — you'd walk down a quiet lane, turn a corner, and suddenly there'd be a temple with these immense wooden gates. And yet, a ten-minute walk away, there'd be a modern shopping street. It manages to be both ancient and thoroughly contemporary at the same time.

I visited Fushimi Inari, the shrine with thousands of red torii gates, at dawn — there were barely any people, and the light through the gates was extraordinary. I also spent an afternoon just sitting in a Zen garden, watching the raked gravel.

What I loved about Kyoto is that it rewards slowness. It's not a city where you tick off landmarks; it's somewhere you wander, get lost, and stumble on something beautiful.

🔗 串题思路

  • Describe a city you have visited → 直接套用
  • Describe a place with historical interest → 强调寺庙和传统
  • Describe a place you would recommend visiting → 直接套用

💬 Part 3 延伸

Q: Do you think tourism has more positive or negative effects on historic cities? It's a double-edged sword. Tourism brings income and preservation funding, but mass tourism can erode the very character that draws visitors. Kyoto has managed it better than many, but even there you can feel the strain in peak season.
